Controller Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an Interim Controller that will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations for one of our manufacturing clients. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage a small team effectively and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, for corporate review.• Coordinate with corporate finance teams to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.• Lead the preparation and analysis of variance reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.• Manage the audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors during annual and periodic audits.• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency.• Mentor and develop accounting staff to ensure a high level of performance and professional growth within the team.
